Java Backend Developer, Specialist II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Establish technical standards and best practices for backend development, ensuring they align with the modernization objectives of the SAP Commissions system.

• Oversee the resolution of highly complex critical issues involving Java applications, the Spring ecosystem, and distributed architectures.

• Design and implement resilient CI/CD pipelines that are integrated with distributed, high-availability systems.

• Suggest and validate organizational standards for the integration, resilience, and observability of backend systems.

• Lead the formulation of solutions that enhance security, scalability, and efficiency in processes involving messaging (Kafka) and Oracle databases.

• Serve as a technical resource for multidisciplinary teams, fostering innovation and knowledge sharing.

• Advanced expertise in Java, the complete Spring ecosystem, and integration with Oracle databases.

• In-depth experience in distributed systems architecture, resilience, and the design of critical APIs.

• Propose and implement messaging solutions utilizing Kafka.

• Define organizational strategies for observability, logging, monitoring, and incident management.
