Senior Software Engineer, Python - Angular

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Facilitate efficient communication with client project stakeholders regarding project progress and recommendations.

• Develop client code that is not only effective but also high-performing, testable, scalable, secure, and of the utmost quality.

• Actively engage in precise planning and estimation activities, utilizing various project methodologies and tools.

• Skillfully gather requirements and organize/present developed features for clients.

• Execute intricate tasks within the current methodology and quality standards, demonstrating success across a range of projects.

• Enhance client success by collaborating with engineers, designers, and managers to identify user pain points, foresee potential challenges, and iterate on solutions that promote client success.

• Participate in agile software development practices, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, team retrospectives, and other governance activities.

• Actively contribute to the Engineering Practice community, mentoring others through Communities of Practice (CoPs) or on project teams, and supporting the development of technical skills.

• Independently lead project delivery within established architecture, showcasing autonomy and accountability throughout all phases from conceptualization to deployment.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 8+ years of experience/expertise in the following areas:

• Backend: Python, Django REST

• Frontend: Angular

• Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms

• Familiarity with OAuth 2.0/OIDC and data encryption

• Proficiency in Git

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology

• Basic knowledge of Cloud platforms (OpenShift, containerization, multi-tenant cluster design)

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines

• Understanding of DevOps practices (deployment, scripting, basic system operations)

• Experience in Agile software development methodologies.

• Expertise in applying Object-Oriented Programming principles (abstraction, encapsulation).

• Experience in creating and implementing well-tested, scalable, and high-performance enterprise-level systems.

• Initiative and practice in mentoring other engineers and decision-makers throughout the organization.

• Strong understanding of SOLID principles.

• Proficiency in the English language.
