Senior Software Engineer – Protection

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Leading the design and execution of essential backend services for high-performance, intricate distributed systems.

• Taking charge of significant technology decisions, focusing on scalability and optimizing output.

• Advocating for and implementing modern development methodologies such as BDD and TDD, which would be highly advantageous.

• Producing clear, contemporary, and thoroughly tested code.

• Collaborating with various teams in a product-centric environment.

• Performing code reviews and consistently seeking ways to enhance our working methods.

• Developing comprehensive internal documentation for the projects you are involved in.

⛳️ Requirements

• Comprehensive understanding of the entire development lifecycle (design, development, and deployment).

• Proficiency in creating developer frameworks and workflows that enable seamless integration for both customers and third parties.

• Experience in Python is beneficial (as it is our primary language!), but we have successfully hired engineers from diverse technical backgrounds, recognizing that adaptability is key.

• Highly driven self-starter who values independence and achieving results.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Understanding of payments, always aiming to enhance our merchant developer experience.

• Candidates must be located in: Poland, Portugal, Hungary, Romania, or South Africa.
