Senior Software Engineer – Payments

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Design and develop essential payment infrastructure for online, in-person, and subscription-based billing processes.

• Take ownership of the reliability of financial transactions: ensuring idempotency, processing webhooks, managing recovery from failures, and performing reconciliations.

• Maintain compliance with PCI DSS standards while ensuring financial systems remain auditable and transparent.

• Engage with cross-functional teams to deliver features that clubs rely on.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in developing backend systems within production environments, particularly focused on payments or financial systems.

• Hands-on experience working with Adyen in a production setting.

• At least 3 years of proven Ruby on Rails experience in production environments.

• Knowledge of Checkout, Terminal API, tokenization, webhooks, or Adyen for Platforms.

• Demonstrated ability to manage high-availability services, including monitoring, alerting, incident response, and conducting postmortems.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
