Senior Software Engineer – .NET Core/AWS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Work autonomously in a technical capacity and implement solutions within a defined architecture, from conceptualization through to deployment.

• Assess trade-offs between accuracy, robustness, performance, and client impact to ensure the right solutions are developed, prioritizing client success.

• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to ensure proper oversight of architecture and dependencies that influence product strategy and direction.

• Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and resolve complex bugs, focusing on security, performance, and reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 7+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer, with expertise in the specified technologies.

• Proficient in .NET CORE, C# / .NET 6+ with over 3 years of experience.

• Extensive experience working in AWS Cloud environments for over 3 years (Lambdas, EKS, SQS).

• Strong background in both Relational and NoSQL databases, with over 3 years of experience in each - SQL Server, MongoDB.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

• Solid experience in microservices architecture.

• Experience with Docker and Containerization, specifically Kubernetes.

• Proven experience with APIs for over 3 years.

• Strong background in Unit Testing with at least 2 years of experience.

• Proficient in Object Oriented Programming and SOLID principles.

• Solid understanding of various design patterns, their theoretical foundations, practical applications, and implementation strategies.

• Ability to mentor, assist, and support peers, providing accurate work estimations.

• Familiarity with CodeCommit and GIT.

• A high proficiency in English is essential for interacting with a globally distributed development team.

• Proven capability in following and adapting high-level architecture to meet project and client needs.

• Ability to verify and validate architecture implementations while influencing overall architecture beyond the immediate team.

• Expertise in object-oriented programming, preferably with languages such as Java or C#.

• High-level design proficiency utilizing UML, C4, or ArchiMate.

• Experience in effectively collaborating with key information stakeholders to design and implement well-tested, scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise-level systems that achieve the client's desired business outcomes.

• Demonstrated initiative in mentoring fellow engineers and decision-makers throughout the organization.

• Strong understanding of architectural styles and design patterns, SOLID principles, and OWASP guidelines.
