This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Guatemala.
• Work independently in a technical capacity and implementation within a team, adhering to a defined architecture throughout all stages from conceptualization to deployment.
• Assess trade-offs between correctness, robustness, performance, and customer impact to ensure the development of optimal solutions, prioritizing client success.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to provide essential oversight of architecture and dependencies that influence product strategy and direction.
• Participate in code reviews, maintain documentation, and resolve complex bug fixes with an emphasis on security, performance, and reliability.
• At least 7+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer, demonstrating proficiency in the specified technologies.
• .NET CORE, C# / .NET 6+ with over 3 years of experience.
• Strong experience working in AWS Cloud environments for over 3 years (including Lambdas, EKS, SQS).
• Extensive experience with both Relational and NoSQL databases for more than 3 years each, such as SQL Server and MongoDB.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Significant experience with microservices architecture.
• Proficient in Docker / Containerization technologies, particularly Kubernetes.
• Over 3 years of experience working with APIs.
• More than 2 years of experience in Unit Testing.
• Background in Object-Oriented Programming and SOLID Principles.
• Proficient in various design patterns, theory, practice, and the ability to break down complexity and implement solutions.
• Ability to mentor, assist, and support peers while providing accurate work estimations.
• Familiarity with CodeCommit.
• Experience with GIT.
• A high level of English proficiency is essential for interacting with a globally distributed development team.
• Proven experience in adapting high-level architecture to meet project and client requirements.
• Ability to verify and validate architecture implementations and influence the overall architecture beyond the immediate team.
• Expertise in applying object-oriented programming, with a preference for languages such as Java/C#.
• High-level design skills using UML / C4 / ArchiMate methodologies.
• Experience in effectively collaborating with relevant information stakeholders to create and implement enterprise-level systems that are well-tested, scalable, secure, and perform efficiently to achieve the desired business outcomes for clients.
• Demonstrated initiative in mentoring fellow engineers and decision-makers across the organization.
• Strong understanding of architectural styles, design patterns, SOLID principles, and OWASP standards.
