Senior Software Engineer, .Net

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Design and improve APIs for seamless integration with other myneva products.

• Oversee and enhance an existing .NET application, primarily focused on the backend with a WinForms frontend.

• Gradually update legacy code by implementing modern architectures and components.

• Maintain and ultimately phase out the use of stored procedures (SQL Server).

• Ensure high code quality through practices such as code reviews, pair programming, and testing (including unit tests and SpecFlow).

• Collaborate closely with support and customer teams to tackle technical challenges.

• Contribute to the evolution and continuous enhancement of our DevOps processes.

• Engage in iterative work within an agile, collaborative team that fosters an open feedback culture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development, preferably with a specialization in C#/.NET.

• Proficiency in dealing with mature codebases and complex systems.

• Strong understanding of Clean Code principles, coupled with refactoring and testing methodologies.

• SQL proficiency, particularly in working with stored procedures.

• Familiarity with WinForms is advantageous.

• Interest in DevOps and the automation of build and deployment processes.

• Excellent team spirit, outstanding communication skills, and eagerness to share knowledge.

• Proficient in English (C1 level); knowledge of German is a plus.
