• We are assembling a top-tier team to enhance a high-performance, event-driven ecosystem.

• As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our transition to .NET 8 and the incorporation of Generative AI (LLMs) into our primary product.

• You will engage with a contemporary tech stack, transitioning from outdated infrastructure to a cloud-native, AI-enhanced future.

• Anticipated travel time, both nationally and internationally, is estimated to be between 0% and 15%.

⛳️ Requirements

• **Your Responsibilities Will Include:**

• - High-Scale Development: Craft and execute resilient microservices utilizing .NET 8, emphasizing performance, scalability, and clean architecture.

• - Event-Driven Architecture: Create and enhance asynchronous workflows using AWS SNS/SQS, guaranteeing data consistency and system resilience.

• - AI Integration: Spearhead the technical integration of LLMs into our applications, connecting .NET backends with Python-based AI functionalities.

• - Data Engineering: Collaborate on the design of high-throughput data pipelines employing AWS Data Firehose and Data Streams for real-time processing.

• - Quality & Testing: Uphold a high standard for code quality using xUnit and WireMock, ensuring a smooth and regression-free transition to new services.

• - Infrastructure Collaboration: Partner closely with SREs to deploy services via GitHub Actions and manage resources using Terraform.

• - Modern Tooling: Utilize GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT to expedite delivery while ensuring rigorous oversight of code security and efficiency.

• **Desired Expertise:**

• - .NET Mastery: Profound knowledge in C# and .NET Core / .NET 8, with an understanding of the framework's internals beyond just syntax.

• - AWS Native Experience: Hands-on experience in building applications that utilize SNS, SQS, S3, and ECS.

• - Distributed Systems: Strong comprehension of Event-Driven Architecture and its patterns (Pub/Sub, Competing Consumers, Idempotency).

• - Caching Excellence: Demonstrated expertise with Redis or Valkey for state management and performance enhancement.

• - AI/ML Curiosity: Background or keen interest in working with LLMs and Python. If you’ve created RAG systems or integrated OpenAI/Anthropic APIs, you are ahead of the game.

• - Testing Rigor: A "test-first" approach. If you don't prioritize unit and integration testing, our deployment cycle may not be suitable for you.

• - DevOps Awareness: Familiarity with Docker, GitHub Actions, and Terraform. While you don’t need to be an SRE, you should be able to communicate effectively with them.
