Senior Software Engineer – .NET

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance microservices for the e-commerce platform (checkout, offers, payments, shipping), prioritizing high throughput and reliable latency.

• Update and modernize legacy systems (.NET Framework / WCF) through a gradual migration strategy.

• Address bug fixes, enhancements, and new initiatives from a prioritized backlog, ensuring no disruption to the purchase process.

• Engage in the complete lifecycle: analysis → implementation → testing → deployment → production observability.

• Participate in code reviews with a focus on enterprise-quality standards (SonarQube, Clean Code, SOLID principles).

• Guarantee resilience and scalability during high-demand events (Black Friday, promotional campaigns).

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in C# and .NET 8+ (familiarity with .NET 10 is preferred).

• Experience in creating RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core Web API.

• Understanding of software architecture principles, including Clean Architecture and DDD (Domain-Driven Design) with tactical patterns.

• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server), including schema design, query writing, stored procedures, and Dapper usage.

• Familiarity with document databases, specifically MongoDB.

• Experience in implementing and utilizing Redis for caching.

• Knowledge of messaging systems using Kafka, including the development of idempotent consumers and producers.

• Experience in automated testing using xUnit, mocks (NSubstitute or similar), and integration testing.

• Understanding of data validation techniques using FluentValidation.

• Experience in implementing resilience strategies with Polly (retry, circuit breaker, and timeout functionalities).

• Knowledge of code quality practices using SonarQube, aiming for zero warnings and a cyclomatic complexity of ≤ 15.

• Familiarity with version control using Git, including Conventional Commits and branching methodologies.

• Basic understanding of infrastructure utilizing Docker and Kubernetes, including knowledge of pods, health checks, and deployment processes.
