Senior Software Engineer – Mobile

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Engage in the development and enhancement of the mobile application, with a focus on React Native and Expo.

• Create, maintain, and improve mobile features ensuring quality, performance, stability, and an exceptional user experience.

• Collaborate on integrations with the app's native components on both Android and iOS, providing support for debugging, maintenance, and the evolution of platform-specific modules as needed.

• Analyze production issues utilizing telemetry and observability tools such as Sentry and Grafana, examining errors, logs, metrics, and app behavior.

• Work closely with Product, Design, QA, and other Engineering teams to transform business requirements into straightforward, robust, and sustainable mobile solutions.

• Participate in technical decision-making, conduct code reviews, drive continuous improvements in the mobile codebase, and mentor developers within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience in mobile development using React Native in production environments.

• Practical experience with Expo, covering aspects such as configuration, building, publishing, and evolving applications.

• Familiarity with native Android and iOS development to assist with integrations, debugging, and maintenance of native modules when required.

• Solid understanding of performance metrics, mobile application lifecycle, state management, navigation, API consumption, and UX best practices.

• Experience in monitoring, telemetry, and investigating production issues using tools like Sentry and Grafana.

• Knowledge of testing methodologies, code review processes, Git, CI/CD, and contemporary software engineering practices.

• Capability to work independently on complex technical challenges, from initial discovery and solution design to delivery, monitoring, and maintenance.
