This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Create and implement innovative cloud-focused solutions utilizing the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CRM) Module.
• Conduct feasibility studies, strategic planning, testing, and technical documentation to support our implementation teams on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM platform.
• Analyze business, functional, and technical requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
• Oversee the technical delivery of Dynamics 365 CE implementations, incorporating security, integration, data migration, and other solution components, while ensuring adherence to application and solution design best practices.
• Maintain, document, and refresh architectural governance documentation and best practices.
• Define interfaces and write code for modules across various products or services, while influencing or driving architectural modifications.
• Establish a consistent, user-friendly, future-oriented, maintainable testing infrastructure; leverage a vast array of design patterns, demonstrate expertise in available technologies, and excel at identifying effective practices.
• Identify code across multiple codebases for optimization, refactoring, and reuse to enhance performance and maintainability, ensuring maximum efficiency, effectiveness, and return on investment.
• Lead code reviews across products or services, diagnose root causes of issues, and propose solutions.
• Proactively detect performance and availability concerns, troubleshoot, present effective alternatives, and resolve production issues that may affect multiple product areas.
• Design products or services using secure programming principles, identify, remedy, and enhance security in existing applications; ensure secure best practices are integrated into the design and implementation of new features and applications.
• Develop and present proposed solution strategies for potential new technologies, collaborating with architecture to review and validate proposals.
• Mentor and guide fellow software engineers while actively seeking mentorship from others.
• Spearhead the definition of engineering lifecycle and practices for the team and related teams in collaboration with the principal software engineer.
• Foster collaboration across multiple teams; identify ways to achieve more by empowering others.
• Anticipate business requirements and present options to leadership and business stakeholders in conjunction with product managers.
• Over 10 years of experience in designing and leading the implementation of large-scale software products or services across multiple systems.
• At least 8 years of experience with Dynamics 365 CRM modules and functionalities (Sales, Customer Service, Marketing/Customer Insights is advantageous).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
• Familiarity with CIJ involving unified and traditional routing.
• Experience in data modeling, integration, and reporting using Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
• Over 5 years of experience in administering Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse and its implementation.
• Proficient in modern development languages (e.g., .NET core, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Python).
• Experience in architectural design and evaluating the impact on cost, performance, reliability, and other KPIs.
• Proficient in creating Plugins, Workflows, and Custom APIs.
• Knowledge of Azure functions, SSIS packages, and PCF controls.
• Experience with AI hub, copilot studio, and building AI prompts for use in Power Automate flows within Dynamics 365.
• Familiarity with data streaming architecture and frameworks (e.g., Kafka, ESB).
• Experience in providing technical architecture guidance and leadership to engineering teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IS, MIS, or another technology-related field from an accredited institution or at least 4 years of equivalent work experience along with a high school diploma/GED.
