Senior Software Engineer, Metrics and Evaluation – Autonomous Vehicles

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Establish and create metrics that facilitate swift debugging, testing, and assessment of our Autonomous Vehicle software.

• Construct engaging, data-driven evaluation tools by merging on-road driving analysis, extensive simulation, models, metrics, and dashboards.

• Partner with machine learning engineers, infrastructure engineers, and roboticists to devise innovative solutions for open-ended challenges.

• Collaborate with the Planning & Control team to formulate and implement software testing strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• MS, PhD, or equivalent experience in data science, electrical, mechanical, aerospace engineering, physics, computer science, or related fields.

• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering, data science, and/or experimental design roles.

• Highly skilled in Python and relevant libraries (Pandas, Numpy, Scipy, Matplotlib).

• Familiarity with programming in GIT on Linux (Ubuntu) or other Unix-based systems.

• Capability and eagerness to quickly adapt to new technical areas.

• Proficient in multitasking and setting priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills.
