Senior Software Engineer – MarketPlace

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain intricate software features and services within OneStream, encompassing requirements translation, technical design, implementation, validation, deployment, and continuous production support.

• Lead the implementation of moderately to highly complex features, ensuring scalability, performance, maintainability, and dependability.

• Facilitate technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions that align with platform standards and reference architectures.

• Construct and uphold user interface solutions utilizing contemporary UI frameworks such as Angular, React, Blazor, and WPF.

• Make and substantiate technical decisions within your domain while ensuring alignment with broader architectural standards.

• Guarantee that JSON and XML data contracts, schemas, and integrations are thoughtfully designed, documented, and backward compatible.

• Design and enhance APIs, SDKs, and extensibility mechanisms utilized by internal teams and partners.

• Actively identify opportunities for enhancing system performance, reliability, and developer productivity.

• Lead and engage in formal code reviews, serving as a trusted reviewer and approver.

• Mentor and assist Software Engineers by providing guidance on design, coding standards, and best practices.

• Collaborate across functions to translate business requirements into technical solutions while proactively identifying opportunities for improving system performance, reliability, and developer productivity.

• Contribute to CI/CD enhancements, automation, testing strategies, and overall engineering quality initiatives.

• Own complex features and components from start to finish, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing production support.

• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to expedite development, refactoring, test creation, and documentation, while critically assessing and refining AI-generated output to ensure accuracy, security, performance, and architectural alignment.

• Collaborate with peers to diagnose and resolve production issues, ensuring system reliability and performance.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.

• 4-10 years of professional software development experience.

• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, and ASP.NET, along with related frameworks.

• Experience in building user interfaces using modern UI frameworks like Angular, React, Blazor, and WPF.

• In-depth understanding of RESTful API design and service-oriented architectures.

• Significant experience in designing, maintaining, and evolving JSON contracts in enterprise applications.

• Experience with performance tuning, memory management, and SQL query optimization.

• Strong familiarity with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience in reviewing unit tests and ensuring sufficient test coverage.
