Senior Software Engineer, Java, React, AWS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Engage in the design, development, troubleshooting, resolution, and testing of software features and components within an Agile framework as a member of a Full Stack team.

• Collaborate with diverse teams to collect and refine software requirements.

• Take the lead on coding efforts for designated modules or features.

• Diagnose and resolve intricate software challenges.

• Participate in code review sessions and uphold coding standards.

• Make contributions to architectural decisions and design discussions.

• Take part in the on-call rotation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of substantial front-end/UI engineering experience, particularly with React and AngularJS.

• At least 4 years of robust back-end engineering experience in Java, specifically utilizing the Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.

• Proven track record in developing exceptional consumer web application interfaces.

• In-depth understanding of JavaScript fundamentals and ES6.

• Strong familiarity with Oracle, MySQL databases, SQL, CRUD operations, Hibernate, JPA, and ORM.

• Experience in writing unit tests for UI components using tools like Jest, Chai, Mocha, the React testing library, and conducting end-to-end testing with Selenium.

• Practical knowledge of browser APIs and a passion for enhancing front-end performance.

• Experience in supervising, conducting code reviews, and mentoring less experienced engineers.

• A bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of professional experience and/or training is required.
