Senior Software Engineer, Java, Payments Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Enhance and expand blockchain-based financial infrastructure systems.

• Develop and manage scalable microservices that facilitate secure value transfer APIs.

• Design, create, and maintain RESTful APIs for payment processing and digital asset management.

• Integrate systems with banking networks and financial institutions.

• Construct infrastructure that supports payment experiences, including databases, messaging systems, and APIs.

• Diagnose system issues and optimize for reliability and performance.

• Collaborate with Product teams and cross-functional stakeholders on architecture and system principles.

• Uphold high coding standards, maintain test coverage, and implement continuous delivery practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of professional experience in software development.

• Strong proficiency in Java (preferred primary programming language).

• Experience in leading small teams from a technical perspective (architecture and system design).

• Proven track record in building scalable microservices architectures.

• Solid grasp of RESTful API design principles.

• Familiarity with payment systems (credit cards, bank transfers, financial rails).

• Experience with cloud service platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

• Strong skills in SQL database design and schema modeling.

• Background in designing and deploying production-quality software.

• Emphasis on code quality, testing, and system reliability.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
