Senior Software Engineer, Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and back-end services utilizing Java and Spring.

• Document and showcase solutions through the creation of documentation, code comments, and efficient coding practices.

• Lead development initiatives for critical modules and features.

• Enhance and maintain existing legacy services.

• Optimize application performance, scalability, and availability within production settings.

• Diagnose and resolve intricate issues.

• Engage in and facilitate code review processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in back-end engineering with Java.

• Extensive experience with the Spring framework.

• Demonstrated ability in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.

• Experience in working with legacy Java services.

• Strong comprehension of cloud-native development principles.

• Proficient SQL skills, with experience in Oracle and PL/SQL.

• Familiarity with Git, Maven, and CI/CD tools.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent professional experience.
