Senior Software Engineer, iOS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Create high-quality iOS applications that provide engaging and reliable experiences for millions of users.

• Design scalable, modular, and maintainable iOS codebases by utilizing modern development techniques.

• Work closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to define and implement new features from start to finish.

• Advocate for iOS best practices, including clean architecture, dependency injection, and efficient UI rendering.

• Track app performance, reliability, and crash analytics to facilitate ongoing enhancements.

• Keep abreast of changes to the iOS platform, updates in the ecosystem, and mobile trends to ensure the team’s skills and tools remain at the forefront.

• Cultivate a culture of collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence within the iOS engineering community.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant combination of education, experience, and training.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in building and launching iOS applications using Swift and Swift UI development principles.

• Strong understanding of iOS architecture patterns, particularly MVVM.

• Experience with integrating RESTful APIs, managing data persistence, and handling complex states in mobile applications.

• Solid knowledge of Design Patterns and OOP principles.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for iOS, automated testing frameworks (XCUITest), and release processes is an advantage.

• Strong practices in code quality, including conducting code reviews, unit testing, and producing clean, maintainable code.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills when working with cross-functional teams.

• A user-centric mindset, with the ability to convert product and design requirements into intuitive mobile experiences.
