Senior Software Engineer – Integration Gateway iPaaS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Oversee the planning, design, development, and testing of enhancements to the nCino Integration Gateway (IG)

• Assist both clients and internal nCino stakeholders in achieving integration goals

• Diagnose production issues and make informed decisions regarding code and service architecture

• Guide and mentor team members through collaborative, hands-on support

• Integrate user feedback into decisions regarding UI/UX and product development

• Contribute to architectural decisions and promote best practices

• Assist in selecting technologies and tools for various projects

• Create code that aligns with the overall service architecture

• Enhance automated testing methodologies

• Work with cross-functional teams to develop launch and release strategies

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, combined with 5+ years of experience or a relevant mix of education and experience

• Proficient in Python and JavaScript

• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and various collaboration tools

• Proven dedication to quality and ongoing improvement

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of working independently as well as collaboratively

• Exceptional communication skills, with the capacity to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences

• Preferred: Extensive knowledge of client-side JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js, Angular, React, Knockout, etc.

• Proficient in AWS DevOps and SysAdmin tasks

• Skilled in both Windows and Linux environments

• Experienced with Terraform, Docker, NGINX, Django, and relational databases (specifically Postgres)

• Basic understanding of security principles, including TLS, IPsec, PKI, hashing, and cryptographic algorithms

• Familiar with fundamental software design patterns, unit testing, and principles of object-oriented and functional programming
