Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure – Core Infra Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of cross-functional infrastructure projects that encompass AWS, GCP, and Networking sectors within Core Infra Systems.

• Develop and sustain self-service tools and established best practices.

• Collaborate with Compute, Infra Security, and Routing teams to integrate guardrails into the infrastructure provisioning process.

• Promote standardization of infrastructure across Coinbase's multi-cloud landscape.

• Lead technical assessments and operational enhancements across infrastructure boundaries.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering.

• At least 3 years of experience in building and managing production cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or GCP.

• Practical experience with cloud networking components such as VPCs, transit gateways, DNS, load balancers, and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi).

• Proficient in at least one backend programming language (e.g., Go, Python).

• Proven track record of leading cross-team technical projects.
