Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Integrates DevSecOps tools within an agile team to facilitate Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) applications.

• Acts as the representative of the DevOps team to ensure consistent communication throughout all stages of intricate development projects, addressing dependencies and obstacles.

• Develops CI/CD solutions for large enterprises as an Individual Contributor.

• Records designs and changes to environments in Jira and/or Confluence to maintain documentation and share information with team members.

• Collaborates with cross-functional, self-organizing teams to address IT challenges or implement solutions that meet program requirements.

• Engages with management and both internal and outsourced development partners on all aspects of CI/CD and system operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Education: 8 years of experience with a BS/BA, 6 years with an MS/MA, 3 years with a PhD, or 12 years of experience in place of a degree.

• Clearance: Must possess an Active Top Secret clearance.

• Proven experience in code development using at least one high-level programming language, including but not limited to Python, Java, and Ruby.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the IT industry as a DevOps Engineer/Architect with Development Operations (DevOps).

• Familiarity with Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration technologies such as GitLab (including GitLab Runners), Jenkins, Ansible, Concourse, CircleCI, etc.

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code languages and frameworks, particularly Terraform.

• Experience with agile and lean methodologies.

• Position must be based locally in the Washington DC Metro Area.
