This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Take complete ownership: You don't just resolve tickets and move on. You are responsible for outcomes. If a partner integration fails or a feature doesn't perform as expected, you ensure the issue is resolved, no matter its location in the stack.
• Navigate real complexities: You will design and maintain partner-facing APIs and integration systems at scale. Be prepared for changing third-party contracts, upstream inconsistencies, and reliability challenges. This role goes beyond simple CRUD operations.
• Collaborate with AI as a core development partner: You possess practical experience with agentic coding workflows, custom skills and hooks, and the architecture of development systems where AI generates most of the code while you guide the architecture, conduct reviews, and ensure quality.
• Influence technical direction: You play a key role in architecture decisions, tackle technical debt proactively to avoid hindering the team, and elevate standards through code reviews and mentoring.
• Be a "whatever it takes" collaborator: When deadlines are tight or cross-team dependencies arise, you step up, determine what's necessary, and facilitate the team's progress.
• Production experience: 5 to 7 years of building software that operates reliably in high-traffic production environments.
• Go expertise: 3+ years of hands-on experience with Go, including goroutines, channels, and Go testing frameworks. You produce idiomatic, maintainable, and efficient code.
• API and integration proficiency: Extensive experience in designing and managing scalable APIs and integration layers with external services. You comprehend the failures of distributed systems and how to enhance their robustness.
• AI-centered workflow: You integrate AI into the core of your working methods rather than as an add-on. You have delivered production work through agentic development systems and understand how to create skills, hooks, and custom tools tailored to your workflow.
• Strong fundamentals: A solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns as applied to distributed systems.
• Agile delivery: Experience with Agile methodologies is essential.
• Communication skills: Proficient command of both written and spoken English, with a minimum proficiency level of B2.
• Partner ecosystem experience: You have experience with systems that connect to third-party platforms or public APIs, and you understand the reliability and versioning trade-offs that come into play.
• Full-stack versatility: You are comfortable working with TypeScript or React when project needs arise.
• Cloud and infrastructure familiarity: Experience with AWS, Terraform, or Kubernetes, along with an understanding of how your code performs in production environments.
• Database expertise: Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL (MongoDB is a plus), with the ability to reason about consistency and performance trade-offs.
• Mentoring attitude: You elevate those around you through thoughtful code reviews and shared insights.
• Training budget of 3500 PLN gross per year.
• Access to e-learning platforms such as O’Reilly.
• Fully covered private healthcare through LuxMed.
• Access to the Worksmile platform with a monthly top-up.
• Subsidized breakfast and lunch options available via the vending machine in the Kraków office, along with weekly lunches in the Gdańsk office.
• Group English classes with a native speaker.
• Provision of a new MacBook Pro, 4K monitors, or any tools you require.
• Flexible work hours.
• A new, modern, bright, and comfortable office space located in the city center.
• Access to the company library.
• A positive working atmosphere.
• A chill-out room equipped with a PlayStation and games.
• Complimentary snacks and beverages available in the kitchen.
• Company parties and social events.
• Employee referral program.
• Relocation package within Poland.
