Senior Software Engineer I, Full Stack, Cyber Risk

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop and deliver product features from start to finish

• Capable of producing clear and well-structured design documentation

• Guide and mentor other engineers

• Direct decisions regarding application architecture

• Diagnose, debug, and rectify software issues

• Implement back-end APIs using Node.JS

• Contribute to our front-end applications built with React, Vue, and Ember

• Collaborate effectively with engineers, designers, and product managers

• Engage in an Agile software development lifecycle

• Create well-structured, maintainable, and testable code

• Maintain a product-oriented mindset with a focus on customer needs

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in developing web-based applications

• Proven experience in guiding high-quality work through to delivery across multiple developers

• Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks (Ember, Angular, React, Vue, etc.)

• Experience in developing REST / JSON APIs

• Proficient in writing software tests

• Ability to independently solve technical challenges

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field

• Driven to work diligently and continuously enhance skills
