Senior Software Engineer – Hosted Web

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain efficient, dependable frontend systems along with the server-side processes that support them.

• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Marketing teams to transform concepts into reality from ideation to deployment, continuously refining with the end-user experience in focus.

• Advocate for engineering best practices including automated testing, peer reviews, observability, and clear, type-safe architecture.

• Guide and impact architectural decisions that emphasize scalability and simplicity within a shared codebase.

• Actively seek feedback, iterate quickly, and maintain a balance between innovation and reliability.

• Troubleshoot production issues across the technology stack utilizing real-time telemetry.

• Approach development with empathy, recognizing how your contributions support our partners and their communities.

• Spearhead AI experimentation and innovation across various workflows, teams, and technology stacks.

• Mentor colleagues and contribute to fostering a collaborative, inclusive engineering culture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of senior-level experience in developing and maintaining large-scale production web applications.

• Expertise in TypeScript and contemporary React, including the React Server Components/server-first model.

• Extensive experience with Next.js (App Router) or a similar SSR/full-stack framework, including server actions, data fetching, and managing the client/server interface.

• Proficient in designing and integrating APIs, working within a microservice architecture, and owning both client-side and server-side code.

• Familiarity with .NET, C#, and AWS.

• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

• Strong instincts for testing, making unit and integration tests a standard part of the development process rather than an afterthought.

• Proficient with observability tools (such as New Relic) for diagnosing and resolving production challenges.

• Agile mindset and a solid understanding of software development lifecycle practices.

• Ability to navigate complexity, evaluate trade-offs, and execute tasks with confidence.

• Experience utilizing agentic development tools to elevate the standards of professional engineering teams.

• Excellent communication skills that engage others and help solidify ideas.
