This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Develop and deliver behavior-driven user experiences that enhance onboarding, activation, checkout processes, and retention throughout Docker’s product offerings.
• Create and execute comprehensive growth experiments—from conceptualization to execution and post-launch evaluation.
• Work in collaboration with Product, Design, Marketing, and Operations teams to implement rapid experiments that enhance key funnel metrics.
• Write production-quality code across Docker’s technology stack, which includes frontend (React/JavaScript), backend (Go/Python), and cloud services.
• Utilize A/B testing frameworks and in-app engagement tools to enhance personalized user experiences.
• Communicate experiment results, insights, and actionable recommendations to stakeholders across product and business departments.
• This position may involve being part of an on-call rotation to offer support beyond regular business hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as necessary.
• A minimum of 6 years of software engineering experience, with a focus on growth engineering, experimentation systems, data engineering, and product-oriented development.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript and React for developing user-facing product experiences, along with proficiency in Go for backend services.
• Practical experience in implementing A/B tests and feature flags in live production environments.
• Familiarity with analytics and experimentation tools such as Adobe Target, Unleash, or Looker.
• Ability to work comfortably across the entire technology stack—front end and backend.
• Experience with Snowflake, Redshift, or similar data warehouse tools for analyzing experiment outcomes.
• Knowledge of AI solutions and data pipeline development.
