Senior Software Engineer – Golang

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.

📋 Description

• Design and uphold high-throughput, low-latency backend systems that process and deliver vast amounts of data.

• Collaborate across teams to create scalable, reliable, and high-performance solutions utilized by thousands of enterprise clients globally.

• Tackle intricate technical challenges, including optimizing concurrency and synchronization, debugging distributed behaviors, and enhancing system reliability.

• Monitor and enhance key performance indicators — including throughput, latency, and resource efficiency — ensuring our systems consistently exceed expectations.

• Continuously improve performance, acknowledging that even minor optimizations can significantly impact high-traffic settings.

• Clearly communicate complex ideas, simplifying intricate technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess 3–6 years of backend engineering experience, preferably with Go as your primary programming language.

• You have built and managed distributed systems and comprehend the challenges associated with concurrency, synchronization, and data consistency.

• You are deeply committed to performance, reliability, and clean code — and you enjoy making quantifiable improvements.

• You are proficient with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and caching systems (Redis).

• You have experience with any messaging or queue systems (e.g., NSQ, NATS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar).

• You adhere to best practices throughout the development lifecycle — from design and reviews to testing and deployment.

• You are fluent in English and communicate efficiently in a global team environment.

• **Bonus Points If You Have**

• Experience with ClickHouse or other analytical databases.

• Familiarity with real-time messaging systems like Kafka, Kinesis, or NATS.

• Practical experience with Kubernetes and AWS infrastructure.

• An interest in event-driven architectures, streaming pipelines, or gRPC-based communication.

• A passion for observability, monitoring, and debugging complex distributed systems.
