Senior Software Engineer – Fusion Automation API

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take charge of web services and desktop code that are substantial in size and complexity, necessitating a high level of ingenuity or creativity.

• Define and execute the Fusion Automation API, prioritizing stability, security, and scalability.

• Set up automated deployments and carry out service releases.

• Enhance and modify the Fusion compute engine's codebase for the Automation API, focusing on performance and reliability improvements.

• Conduct code reviews, mentor fellow developers, and play an active role in architectural decision-making.

• Collaborate with QA to elevate service quality and stability through observability, monitoring, continuous integration, test planning, and automation.

• Work alongside software architects and developers globally, and engage with extended teams in UX, Research, Product Management, QA, and Platform Engineering.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated professional software engineering experience with a proven history in both web services and extensive desktop applications.

• Solid backend web development principles: crafting REST APIs, managing authentication and authorization, automated testing, and operational expertise on AWS.

• High proficiency in modern C++ and an additional language such as C#, TypeScript, or Python.

• An innate sense of what constitutes 'good code' and 'good architecture'.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
