
Senior Software Engineer β Full Stack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
β’ Develop backend services, APIs, and the data architecture that support all of our product areas β including outreach automation, payments, reporting, and analytics β with a focus on reliability and accuracy in a payments-critical environment.
β’ Take ownership of data modeling, ETL processes, and vendor SDK integrations across EHRs, payment processors, and external partners.
β’ Engage in the React frontend and internal tools where your contributions cover the entire technology stack.
β’ Elevate team standards through your own exemplary work and by providing thorough, constructive code reviews.
β’ Produce code and documentation that directs both human developers and AI agents toward achieving excellence.
β’ Collaborate with Product from the initial ideation to the production release to translate business objectives into precise engineering specifications.
β’ Draft the technical specifications for the projects you oversee β considering scalability, edge cases, and long-term maintainability.
β’ Contribute to CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Terraform, and development infrastructure as necessary, including enhancements to the tools and systems the team depends on.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative/technical/engineering field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
β’ Over 5 years of experience deploying to production, with direct accountability for high-scale platforms (100M+ records) in accuracy-sensitive sectors such as healthcare or fintech.
β’ Profound experience in building backend and data systems (services, pipelines, APIs) using a general-purpose programming language and SQL, with strong fundamentals in relational data modeling.
β’ Significant experience in TypeScript or a strongly typed language; comfortable with React, although frontend work is a smaller component of this role. You naturally prioritize type safety and test coverage.
β’ Familiar with a leading cloud service provider (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
β’ Knowledge of security and compliance regulations concerning PHI, PII, and financial information.
β’ Must be located in New York, NY; Santa Barbara, CA; or Atlanta, GA.
