Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable backend services utilizing Node.js, Express.js, and TypeScript.

• Create and uphold frontend features in Angular, collaborating closely with designers to deliver clean and high-performing UIs.

• Contribute to the design of APIs, ensuring they are consistent, secure, and maintainable.

• Design database schemas, execute migrations, and enhance query performance across PostgreSQL and SQL Server.

• Engage in discussions regarding system design and assist in defining the technical direction for new features.

• Write well-tested and reviewable code while actively participating in code reviews.

• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks throughout the stack.

• Apply security best practices including JWT authentication, rate limiting, input validation, and prompt shielding.

• Ensure production reliability through PM2 process management, graceful shutdowns, health checks, and structured logging.

• Work collaboratively across functions with product managers, QA, and other engineers in an agile setting.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience.

• Strong expertise in Node.js with a comprehensive understanding of the async/event-driven model.

• Experience in production environments with Express.js, including middleware chains, request lifecycles, and error handling.

• Proficient in TypeScript, preferring it as a primary language rather than merely tolerating it.

• Practical experience in building and maintaining Angular applications (version 12 or later).

• Solid grasp of REST API design principles.

• Familiarity with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or equivalent.

• Experience with version control processes, including Git and PR-based development.
