Senior Software Engineer – Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Replace manual financial workflows with scalable automation that minimizes operational complexity as the business expands.

• Develop self-service capabilities enabling Finance teams to independently address operational challenges without needing engineering support.

• Enhance our NetSuite integration into a cohesive financial platform where essential accounting data flows seamlessly across various systems.

• Investigate intricate financial and operational challenges, often identifying the issue before implementing solutions.

• Design robust systems that increase the reliability, accuracy, and traceability of accounting and treasury operations.

• Assist the organization in scaling transaction volumes and financial intricacies without proportionately increasing operational burdens.

• Collaborate closely with Finance stakeholders to comprehend business processes and translate them into sustainable technical solutions.

• Contribute to the growth of the team's domain as Treasury functionalities become a vital component of the platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer.

• Strong foundation in backend engineering principles.

• Experience in building and maintaining production systems.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to investigate issues with incomplete information and systematically determine root causes.

• Proficiency in working with relational databases and intricate data models.

• Experience in designing maintainable and scalable software solutions.

• High level of ownership, autonomy, and accountability.

• Comfortable collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

• Nice to have: Experience in fintech, payments, accounting, treasury, or other financial sectors.

• Experience with Ruby on Rails.

• Experience with PostgreSQL.

• Familiarity with AWS infrastructure.

• Experience with Kubernetes.

• Experience integrating with ERP systems, especially NetSuite.

• Experience in building internal tools, operational platforms, or self-service systems.
