Senior Software Engineer, Exchange

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance the fundamental exchange infrastructure, including order matching, trade execution algorithms, and the underlying data structures.

• Create reliable and efficient APIs and data feeds that our clients rely on, encompassing REST, FIX, and WebSockets.

• Design robust systems for clearing infrastructure, position management, margin processes, and the flow of funds.

• Foster technical partnerships with our clients, such as market makers and traders.

• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in databases, internal services, and any areas where latency impacts productivity.

• Conduct thorough testing of systems before they go live to ensure they can withstand production pressures.

• Contribute to the conceptualization of innovative prediction market structures, including new contract types and mechanics.

• Act swiftly, make decisive choices, and take ownership of results - we provide genuine autonomy, which entails real accountability.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of engineering experience, with a proven history in high-performance, low-latency systems.

• Proficient in high-performance programming languages such as C, Rust, C++, Go, Java, or similar, with a willingness to learn new languages.

• Possess a product-oriented mindset, capable of scoping projects effectively, making sound trade-offs, and working independently.

• Proven ability to excel in fast-paced and uncertain environments where high agency and ambition are essential.

• Experience in TradeFi, prediction markets, crypto exchange infrastructure, or smart order routing (SOR).
