Senior Software Engineer, Email & Communications Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and sustain full-stack features for our email and communications platform.

• Engage with systems that facilitate large-scale email delivery.

• Construct and enhance APIs, background services, and data pipelines using .NET.

• Design and manage cloud-native services utilizing Azure.

• Lead modernization initiatives by refactoring existing legacy code.

• Collaborate with product teams and stakeholders to interpret business requirements.

• Take part in code reviews, technical design discussions, and incident management.

• Find a balance between developing new features and making incremental improvements to system reliability.

• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and foster a culture of engineering excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Full-stack development expertise — proficient in managing features from backend to frontend.

• Strong experience with C# / .NET, particularly in building APIs, services, and backend systems.

• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure services in a production environment.

• Experience with high-volume email systems and email delivery at scale.

• Strong capability in SQL Server, including writing efficient queries and designing schemas.

• Background in legacy modernization — familiarity with mature codebases.

• Solid understanding of distributed systems and API design principles.

• Experience with React / Next.js for building modern frontend applications.

• Knowledge of the digital marketing domain, particularly in campaign management.
