Senior Software Engineer, Elixir

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Full ownership of epics and Elixir-based applications from start to finish

• Proactively influence the engineering strategy and promote technical excellence within the team

• Make informed architecture and technology choices while ensuring high code quality

• Recognize and consistently work to minimize technical debt

• Assist with deployments and CI/CD processes

• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Design, and QA teams

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or vocational training in an IT-related discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering) or equivalent relevant practical experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in functional programming, event-sourced systems, or CQRS, with initial experience in Elixir or several years of extensive, hands-on Elixir work

• Solid understanding of software architecture, system design, and testing methodologies

• Proficient in modern cloud and runtime environments (Linux, Docker, Postgres, AWS, CI/CD)

• High level of ownership, methodical working style, effective communication skills, and a proactive approach to leading initiatives

• Excellent German language skills and good command of English
