
Senior Software Engineer – Data Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Design, develop, and sustain production-ready data pipelines, platform services, and integrations.
• Create scalable, cloud-native data platform solutions that can ingest, process, transform, and deliver data at scale.
• Construct platform solutions utilizing microservices and containerized architectures.
• Write and uphold unit, integration, and performance tests.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for platform services, data integrations, and APIs.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams throughout the complete development lifecycle.
• Engage in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including stand-ups, planning, refinement, and retrospectives.
• Assist in the deployment, monitoring, and operational readiness of data platform services in a production environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with a formal software engineering background, or equivalent experience.
• Over 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or Golang.
• Experience in developing and deploying solutions on AWS or similar cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with building cloud and/or standalone APIs.
• Background in distributed systems, microservices, and/or data-intensive architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and continuous delivery practices.
• Proficient in deploying applications using Docker.
• Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Experience in writing automated unit and integration tests.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills; ability to adapt to evolving requirements.
