Senior Software Engineer, Cloud Office Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive full-stack features within the Google Drive and OAuth segments of our Cloud Office Security solution.

• Design and implement agentic workflows that streamline the detection, investigation, and resolution of security threats.

• Deeply integrate with Google Workspace APIs, crafting dependable pipelines capable of managing real-world data at scale.

• Collaborate closely with product and design teams to deliver the most impactful features for our clients.

• Work alongside related product and platform teams to disseminate Cloud Office Security functionalities throughout the offering.

• Foster a positive engineering culture by actively engaging in discussions, conducting code reviews, and providing mentorship.

• Strong Backend & Systems Skills: Solid software engineering principles and the capability to deliver high-quality backend code.

• Full-Stack Comfort: Proficient across the stack and willing to contribute to the frontend (TypeScript/React) when necessary.

• Product Sense: A genuine concern for user experience and the ability to negotiate reasonable UX compromises with design peers.

• Curiosity About Agentic Systems: Background or keen interest in developing LLM-powered agents in production, encompassing prompt design, tool utilization, and evaluation.

• Technical Maturity & Ownership: Capable of writing high-quality code with minimal supervision, discerning which risks are worth taking and which should be avoided.

• Attitude & Ambition: Intelligent, diligent, humble, and unafraid of failure. Team-oriented but capable of leading with limited direction.
