Senior Software Engineer, Backend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and launch new backend services and features while enhancing the overall quality of SmarterDx’s applications.

• Collaborate with various disciplines to gain insights into user needs and iterate on innovative concepts.

• Safeguard patient privacy and security by adhering to secure coding practices.

• Research and promote enhanced techniques, processes, and designs within the team.

• Provide support for SmarterDx’s applications in a production environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of development experience, specifically focused on backend and cloud-based solutions.

• Proficient in Python programming.

• Familiarity with Postgres or comparable relational databases.

• Experience in building cloud-native distributed systems and working with event-driven architectures.

• Proven experience collaborating with data scientists to plan, develop, and refine deliverables.

• Background in a security-focused work environment.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
