Senior Software Engineer – Backend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Develop high-performance micro-services and APIs.

• Build scalable and efficient production systems on AWS.

• Work collaboratively with a team to enhance systems based on user feedback.

• Design and architect well-organized systems and code.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 2-5+ years of experience in a production environment using Go, Java, Scala, or C++.

• Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures along with their real-world applications.

• Experience with SQL databases.

• Familiarity with microservices, distributed systems, data serialization protocols (such as protobufs), and stream processing (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis).

• Experience with Go is advantageous.

• Experience with GraphQL is also a plus.
