Senior Software Engineer, Audit – Full Stack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Design and develop agent-driven experiences for financial audit processes, determining where autonomy is appropriate and where auditor involvement is necessary.

• Manage intricate, comprehensive workstreams related to the onboarding of our largest clients.

• Begin coding from day one and quickly transition to having full responsibility for substantial product areas.

• Collaborate on a daily basis with product managers, designers, and financial audit subject matter experts to tackle challenging domain issues.

• Contribute to shaping the technical vision and influence the team's approach to agentic systems, AI tools, and engineering best practices.

• Guide other engineers and participate in our interview process as the team expands.

⛳️ Requirements

• A proficient full-stack engineer who enjoys coding daily and wishes to continue doing so.

• Comfortable navigating ambiguous and rapidly changing environments, where you can figure things out on the fly.

• Possess a strong sense of ownership; you take initiative without waiting for direction.

• Interested in AI and agentic systems, already integrating AI coding tools into your workflow.

• Capable of quickly grasping complex domain concepts. While knowledge of financial auditing isn't necessary, you are the type of person who can assimilate it swiftly.

• Naturally collaborative, you prefer working alongside product, design, and domain experts to solve challenging problems together.

• Experienced in leading projects and making technical decisions with a proactive mindset.

• Bonus Points

• Experience in financial services, audit, accounting, or compliance.

• Previous involvement in developing AI or agent-driven product experiences.

• Familiarity with our technology stack: TypeScript, React, GraphQL, Node.js, PostgreSQL.

• Background in high-growth startups where you took on multiple roles.

• Experience with document processing or infrastructure projects.
