Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality backend services and supporting systems.

• Work across the stack as necessary to provide comprehensive, end-to-end solutions.

• Take ownership of services in production, including deployment, monitoring, performance, and operational health.

• Collaborate with product managers and designers to convert functional requirements into technical solutions.

• Influence architectural decisions with an emphasis on scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability.

• Partner with engineers to identify and address production issues and system bottlenecks.

• Mentor engineers and offer technical leadership through design reviews, code reviews, and architectural guidance.

• Assist in establishing best practices for operational readiness, observability, and system ownership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, predominantly focused on backend systems.

• Demonstrated ability to deliver reliable, maintainable software in production environments.

• Experience in building and operating web-based services and APIs.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern infrastructure environments.

• Experience in contributing to or enhancing CI/CD pipelines and automated delivery processes.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• A collaborative mindset, positive attitude, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
