Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and implement large-scale real-time systems with a focus on high quality, scalability, and operability.

• Work in collaboration with product management, data engineering, and other engineering teams to deliver comprehensive solutions to our clients.

• Evaluate and provide constructive feedback on technical designs and code alterations to fellow engineers.

• Actively identify areas of technical debt and offer recommendations for remediation.

• Assume operational responsibility for the system by utilizing monitoring and observability tools to detect and address issues.

• Guide and mentor team members to elevate the technical standards of the group.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience.

• Extensive experience in software development using modern programming languages, with proficiency in functional programming.

• Proven history of leading the design and execution of large, complex projects from start to finish, while influencing technical direction outside your own team.

• Strong capabilities in software design and architecture, particularly in creating scalable, high-performance, and reliable systems for high-traffic scenarios.

• Experience in building distributed systems or public-facing/platform APIs.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.

• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proficient in using modern AI development tools to enhance delivery speed without compromising quality, including practical experience with AI coding assistants, providing effective context, and critically assessing generated code for correctness, security, maintainability, and long-term quality.
