Senior Software Engineer

• The Senior Software Engineer is tasked with designing, developing, and deploying scalable software solutions as a member of a cross-functional Agile team.

• This position merges hands-on software engineering with contemporary data architectures, API development, and microservices design to create enterprise applications that fulfill mission and business goals.

• The ideal candidate will work closely with developers, architects, and product owners to create secure, resilient, and maintainable solutions across various system environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship with the capability and willingness to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience.

• At least 5 years of experience in application development, design, and deployment.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the capability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience in developing applications across diverse system architectures.

• Proficiency in JavaScript and modern TypeScript frameworks.

• Comprehensive understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies and Agile practices.

• Strong grasp of SOLID principles and software design patterns.

• Experience with SQL, ETL processes, data warehousing, and streaming data architectures.

• Development and deployment experience using Docker or Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and microservices environments.

• Solid understanding of secure software development best practices.

• Experience in developing custom solutions within SaaS platforms like Salesforce, ServiceNow, or Microsoft D365 is preferred.

• Proficiency with AWS Glue for data cataloging, schema discovery, transformation, and job orchestration is preferred.

• Experience querying structured and semi-structured data stored in Amazon S3, including formats such as Parquet is preferred.

• Expertise in Python and Golang programming languages is preferred.
