Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop and integrate a mix of internally created and purchased tools to enhance our contracting, eligibility, and billing workflows. Your efforts will significantly influence business outcomes by improving existing solutions or implementing new ones in close collaboration with product and business stakeholders.

• Act as an informal leader within the team by consistently identifying improvement opportunities, mentoring peers, and clarifying uncertainties.

• Utilize AI and ML technologies to provide innovative solutions to intricate challenges.

• Collaborate and persuade others to shape future strategies, drawing from your extensive experience and technology research.

• Oversee large-scale projects, proactively addressing infrastructure and architectural requirements before they emerge.

• Investigate, adopt, and promote new technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in writing clear, tested, and efficient code.

• Knowledge of LLMs and GenAI best practices for coding and application features.

• Proficiency with a modern back-end web framework (e.g., Rails, Python).

• Experience with a contemporary front-end framework (e.g., React, Vue).

• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).

• Strong debugging and optimization capabilities.

• Experience with APIs that support mobile applications providing rich user experiences.

• In-depth knowledge of SDLC processes and frameworks.

• Eagerness to learn new tools, languages, workflows, and philosophies for personal growth.

• A curious mindset that values problem-solving over being right.
