Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee a collection of enterprise applications throughout their entire lifecycle

• Execute upgrades, patching, deployments, and the decommissioning of applications

• Diagnose issues across desktop, cloud, and integrated environments

• Create automation solutions using PowerShell to enhance operational efficiency

• Assist in software packaging and enterprise deployment procedures

• Collaborate with vendors for releases, escalations, and resolving issues

• Keep documentation updated, including runbooks, deployment guides, and procedures

• Enhance operational processes and implement repeatable workflows

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline

• Over 5 years of experience in supporting or engineering enterprise applications

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar work management tools

• Strong expertise in: Windows client applications, SaaS platforms, software packaging and deployment, PowerShell scripting, and troubleshooting in both desktop and cloud environments

• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities

• Preferred: Experience in End User Computing (EUC) engineering

• Knowledge of application packaging (SCCM, Intune, or similar)

• Experience with SaaS administration

• Background in supporting large enterprise environments

• Strong focus on documentation and process improvement
