Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Create and develop comprehensive product experiences for the Customer platform across both web and mobile platforms, utilizing technologies such as TypeScript, React/Next.js, React Native, Flutter, and GraphQL.

• Employ robust engineering principles and best practices to ensure systems remain modular, scalable, resilient, and easy to maintain as the product evolves.

• Lead the technical design process from defining problems to implementation—crafting design documents, engaging in design reviews, and conducting thorough code reviews to guarantee quality and consistency.

• Enhance and refine CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows, integrating DevSecOps practices (automation, security scanning, and safe release methodologies).

• Assist in hosting, deployment, and runtime operations by enhancing observability, reliability, and performance (monitoring, alerting, incident response, and capacity planning).

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of professional software development experience, primarily in senior, staff, or principal-level positions.

• Mastery of modern application development, encompassing: TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, React, React Native, Flutter, Swift, and Kotlin.

• Extensive experience in designing and utilizing GraphQL and RESTful APIs.

• Profound understanding of database architecture and performance, with practical experience in PostgreSQL and MongoDB.

• Experience in establishing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and contributing to DevSecOps practices.

• In-depth knowledge of mobile application delivery for both iOS and Android, including release and store lifecycle management.

• Familiarity with event-driven and asynchronous systems, such as messaging and queue-based architectures.

• Experience interfacing with third-party platforms like SSO providers, payment gateways, and eCommerce solutions.
