Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Play a pivotal role in enhancing our technology platform and developing software products that create a significant impact.

• Lead technical initiatives that span several months across a large-scale system.

• Suggest innovative solutions to practical business challenges.

• Collaborate across departments with both engineering and non-engineering colleagues.

• Drive outcomes that improve user experiences and business processes.

• Engage with unfamiliar code to diagnose issues or implement new features.

• Contribute to the feature development of larger projects.

• Take technical leadership on smaller projects.

• Involve in Support tasks, including off-hours and weekend on-call responsibilities.

• Recommend technical designs, taking into account standard practices, trade-offs, and maintainability.

• Conduct thorough and insightful code reviews.

• Work with both legacy and new codebases.

• Prototype, develop, and troubleshoot new features.

• Implement and uphold DevOps cloud methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in at least three programming languages, with a strong ability to learn new ones swiftly as needed. Python is highly preferred, but other languages such as C#, Java, Javascript/Typescript, or others are acceptable.

• Over 5 years of experience in developing back-end services and APIs within a distributed, service-oriented architecture.

• More than 5 years of experience in building large-scale front-end applications utilizing modern frameworks (React is highly preferred, but Vue or Angular are also acceptable).

• At least 5 years of experience with data modeling across various database and storage types.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and deploying services in the cloud (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI).

• Bonus points for prior experience in healthcare/health tech or other regulated industries, particularly regarding data privacy and compliance requirements.

• Experience with Kubernetes.
