Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborating with Product Managers, UX Designers, and fellow developers to transform business requirements into scalable software solutions.

• Crafting and executing new features utilizing contemporary architectural patterns such as microservices and microfrontends.

• Diagnosing and resolving intricate technical challenges with determination and ingenuity.

• Participating in sprint planning and actively eliminating obstacles to achieve delivery objectives.

• Guiding team members on best practices, emerging technologies, and architectural choices.

• Promoting ongoing enhancements in development methodologies, tools, and team collaboration.

• Advocating for clean code, usability, and performance in every solution you develop.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in web application development.

• Expertise in modern front-end frameworks (React preferred; Angular or Vue are also acceptable).

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.

• Experience with CSS layout and preprocessors (e.g., Sass or Less).

• Comprehensive understanding of RESTful APIs and database technologies (SQL and/or NoSQL).

• Familiarity with user experience (UX) design principles.

• Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative approach.

• A proactive, detail-oriented attitude toward problem-solving and continuous learning.

• Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Experience in C# and the .NET ecosystem.

• Knowledge of CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).

• Familiarity with JavaScript bundlers (Webpack, Babel).

• Exposure to telemetry, monitoring, and observability tools.

• Experience with design systems and component libraries (e.g., MUI).

• Practical experience with end-to-end testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright).

• Understanding of microfrontend frameworks (e.g., Piral).

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Background in developing enterprise or SaaS products.
