Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and sustain scalable applications for both front-end and back-end systems.

• Construct and incorporate AI-driven features (such as intelligent automation, recommendations, predictive capabilities, or conversational interfaces) into core products.

• Transform ideas from concept to production in an iterative and highly releasable manner.

• Convert design documents and product specifications into high-quality, maintainable code.

• Work collaboratively across teams including Product, QA, and other engineering departments.

• Refactor and modernize legacy systems, integrating scalable and open standards.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance unit and feature tests, utilizing AI-assisted testing methodologies.

• Diagnose and fix bugs while prioritizing performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Manage projects from start to finish, including establishing timelines and proactively updating stakeholders on progress.

• Conduct thorough analysis of test results and provide solutions for identified issues.

• Produce statistics and effectively communicate/write reports that convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Continually assess and incorporate emerging AI tools, frameworks, and best practices to enhance engineering speed and drive product innovation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or relevant experience.

• Over 5 years of in-depth experience with PHP, modern frameworks (such as Symfony, Laravel, etc.), HTML5, jQuery, Vue, SASS, and CSS.

• Documented experience in building and delivering features with modern AI-assisted development tools (including code generation, debugging, and test automation).

• Understanding of AI/ML concepts such as prompt engineering, model evaluation, and best practices for data handling.

• Experience with AWS and cloud-based web applications is advantageous.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, changing technical environment.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
