Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Serve as the technical authority for the Engineering team, shaping decisions through collaboration and technical expertise.

• Perform code reviews prioritizing quality, maintainability, scalability, and compliance with established standards.

• Develop and enhance best practices for implementing AI in development, ensuring an appropriate balance between speed and quality.

• Engage in engineering refinement sessions, aiding in the technical validation of solutions prior to development commencement.

• Assist in architectural decisions alongside Product, DevOps, Data, and strategic leadership (CEO/CPO).

• Help in gradually reducing technical debt and advancing the platform architecture.

• Aid in solving intricate technical challenges, fostering team growth without taking control of task execution.

• Actively involve in the development of strategic features, integrations, and product priority initiatives.

• Record technical decisions, architectural patterns, and relevant insights for the team.

• Encourage knowledge sharing through code reviews, pair programming, and ongoing collaboration.

• Contribute to the enhancement of quality practices in conjunction with QA.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Senior Software Engineer in software products.

• Strong expertise in TypeScript, React, and Node.js.

• Familiarity with system architecture, REST APIs, and distributed systems.

• Experience in code reviews, establishing best practices, and offering technical assistance to fellow developers.

• Hands-on experience with AI tools utilized in software development.

• Capability to assess technical trade-offs with consideration for product and business implications.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across various domains.
