Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Address complex, cross-system challenges that encompass all facets of fulfillment and servicing.

• Take ownership of significant features from conception to deployment, including release and monitoring.

• Develop scalable, event-driven, AI-native applications that enhance the customer experience.

• Work collaboratively with platform teams to improve the overall system architecture.

• Be responsible for the design, implementation, quality, and safety of AI/agentic features in live systems.

• Guide engineers at various levels through code reviews, collaborative design, and mentoring.

• Promote the use of tools and practices, including AI developer tools, and establish effective habits.

• Champion proactive investments—such as refactoring, observability, upgrades, and technology adoption—that facilitate continuous improvement.

• Communicate effectively across product, design, solutions, and operations to ensure alignment with business objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of full-stack development experience.

• A proven history of building distributed, cloud-native applications, including hands-on serverless experience.

• Demonstrated success in deploying AI/LLM features to production.

• Strong intuition for API design and backward compatibility, particularly where events influence financial transactions or fulfillment.

• A history of managing large, complex, cross-system projects from start to finish.

• Ability to influence beyond your immediate team—aligning groups, simplifying complex concepts for leadership, and utilizing data to support your position.

• Experience mentoring at various levels and driving team-wide enhancements that persist beyond individual projects.

• Proficient in data modeling and context engineering to ensure application quality and effective agentic decision-making.

• Skilled in advanced AI developer tools, with a history of using them to increase output and a commitment to bringing teammates along in the process.

• Excellent communication skills across product teams, business stakeholders, designers, support staff, and engineers.

• Expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
