This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

• Engage in establishing product-level architecture while being accountable for designing component-level architecture.

• Assume responsibility for features and components.

• Conduct code and design reviews.

• Carry out hands-on development and maintenance of software applications and components.

• Support and maintain existing systems and ongoing programs.

• Develop unit tests in addition to integration tests.

• BA/BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is required.

• Over 5 years of practical coding experience in Java; ideally through multiple complete development cycles from specifications to software delivery.

• Profound knowledge of Java 17.

• Comprehensive understanding and practical experience with the Spring Framework.

• Experience in multi-threaded programming and distributed systems, along with developing highly performant and scalable applications.

• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve memory and resource bottlenecks.

• Strong knowledge and hands-on expertise with any RDBMS and/or NoSQL database.

• Sound understanding of OAuth 2.0 authentication flows.

• Familiarity with various design and architectural patterns.

• Experience with JMS, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, and Kafka is advantageous.

• Familiarity with AWS or any cloud-based platform is a plus.

• Understanding of CI/CD practices is a benefit.

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web standards is desirable.
