Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the entire software development lifecycle, encompassing the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software solutions.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including product managers, data scientists, and fellow engineers, to create scalable and high-performance systems.

• Work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to grasp their requirements and design solutions that enhance workflows and tackle intricate technical challenges.

• Handle large datasets, ensuring efficient processing, manipulation, and analysis.

• Participate in architectural discussions, proposing and implementing innovative solutions to technical challenges.

• Mentor and support junior team members to foster growth and knowledge sharing within the engineering team.

• Continuously assess and incorporate emerging technologies to enhance system performance and scalability.

• Maintain a strong emphasis on writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices and coding standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Over 3 years of professional programming experience, with a strong emphasis on Python.

• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and their applications.

• Experience in building and optimizing distributed, scalable systems and high-performance applications.

• Proficiency in handling large-scale datasets and implementing efficient data processing solutions.

• Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to make prompt, thoughtful decisions in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented setting.

• Experience in machine learning, data analytics, or financial services is a plus.
